Dippy on Tour
Client: Creative Core
Scope: Interactive Pterosaur
The Natural History Museum’s famous Diplodocus skeleton is on tour and visited Rochdale, its first time in the North West, little wonder it attracted over 100,000 visitors.
We worked with Creative Core to design develop a Flapping Pterosaur mobile with over 1m wingspan, constructed from CNC routed plywood. It was then suspended from the ceiling, with a further length of cord from the chest of the skeleton to allow visitors to pull down to make the wings flap. We hope it helps to inspire the next generation of Palaeontologists.
