Little Liverpool Gallery
Client: The Hub
Scope: Refurbishment of Interactive Exhibits
The Little Liverpool Gallery is a hands on experiential environment for children under the age of six to learn through play and originally opened in 2011. The interactives include Liverpuddles, a water based game which allows visitors to sail boats and fish in the river Mersey whilst learning about environmental issues. The dock wall features an A – Z of different objects, each is an interactive to encourage exploration, supporting early learning through speaking, listening and discovery.
This refurbishment was to ensure the award winning galleries interactives continue to be of the highest quality, with safety and reliability a priority. The interactives were removed from the gallery to our workshop where they received a thorough deep clean and full servicing, followed by extensive workshop testing before they were reinstalled back into the gallery to entertain and educate many thousands of more visitors.
