Nottingham Castle

Client: Nottingham Castle

Scope: Props, Replicas and Set Works

Over the last few years, Nottingham Castle Trust, also known as ‘The Castle of Curious Rebels’, has been transformed into a world class heritage attraction bringing over 1,000 years of history and creativity to life.

We were given with the exciting task of bringing the refurbished galleries to life through props, replicas and set works which needed to be highly realistic, and historically accurate. From a practical point of view the tactile interactives needed to be hard wearing, durable and easy to clean to cope with the large number of visitors.

Our towering oak tree, complete with leaves and overhanging branches surrounds the entrance to the gallery. And we also worked with the team to design develop and produce a replica Long Bow – because who doesn’t want to play at being Robin Hood?!
