The flexible maintenance services we offer to our clients help support the safety checks of internal teams and are not limited to exhibits we have designed and built.
Here at Unusual Projects we love a bit of training and the opportunity to learn something new. Over the past few weeks we have had a variety of courses held here at Unusual HQ as well as having some of the team getting the opportunity to go to training centres and make the most of the sun!
We asked Scott from Elite Safety Services to deliver risk assessment training to the whole UP team as well as fire warden training to our newly appointed fire wardens.
Scott also delivers courses on behalf of CITB, IOSH and NEBOSH so we also asked him to come in to carry out the one-day CITB HSA course. This was followed by forklift training with IceTec who provided all levels of training, starting with a one day refresher here at Unusual HQ for those on the team who already had their forklift license through to some of team members who are completely new to the world of forklifts. It’s safe to say everyone enjoyed the courses and have all been busy applying their new found skills!
Carol says: “We have been working with Scott for a while now and he has become an important part of the extended Unusual Projects team. To be able to utilise his skills as a trainer as well and bring him in to work with us to enhance our knowledge is such a bonus. Scott delivered the training courses here at the Unusual Projects office which meant we were able to get the whole team involved and apply it directly to the work we do all with minimal disruption to the office. He is not only a pleasure to work with but makes our jobs easier in understanding something that can often be seen as a minefield of information.”
