donation boxes

client: ugly studios

Scope: scenic & Interactives

We were commissioned by the ever wonderful Ugly Studios to build four interactive donation boxes in the theme of key areas within Bolton Museum. The interactives were cleverly designed to encourage visitors to donate but also to engage with key elements within the galleries.

Using a range of talent across our team of joiners, metal fabricators and graphic designers programmed the LED lights to illuminate when passing the sensor. Multiple layers of backlit graphic print create the effect of items placed in the windows.

Even though we have worked together for a while; on every project I’m always really impressed with the quality and craftmanship that Unusual produce. It’s always completely top notch! And lovely people too – all in all.. perfect!
