Kensington Palace
Client: Historic Royal Palaces
Scope: Maintenance of Interactive Exhibits & Models
Kensington Palace is a stunning Royal residence set within Kensington Gardens in London. It has been a Royal residency since the 17th century. With over 600,000 visitors per year the rooms and exhibits require regular attention to ensure they are maintained to the standard expected of a Historic Royal palace site. We work with the team at Kensington to undertake the maintenance of the exhibition created to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s birth. Our maintenance teams visit the site after it has closed to the public at night to ensure we do not disrupt the visitor experience.
“Unusual Projects carry out the maintenance of the Victoria: A Royal Childhood exhibition at Kensington Palace. All the team are a joy to work with, they are professional, practical inventive and imaginative in helping us to keep this playful family focused exhibition at the very high standard that is expected by the visitors to Historic Royal Palaces.”
Ali Richardson – HRP, Kensington Palace
