Client: national museum of the royal navy
Scope: Interactives & installation
Working alongside FORM Atlarge (interpretation planning and concept design) we guided the client team through the early stages of concept design to create a collaborative modern interpretation of the Royal Navy.
FORM Atlarge brought a wealth of experience and creativity to the project, particularly with their unique approach to graphic interpretation. We were tasked with delivering a full gallery refresh with new AV interactive stations, AV screens and projection, new and exciting graphic displays, opening the original gallery by removing existing wall structures, and making it a much more modern, dynamic, and inclusive gallery space.
We also worked with Joi Polloi who, as AV software developers, brought their technological expertise to the team with their unique software solution to the interactive kiosks. This solution allows regular refreshment of the video assets by the client; keeping the gallery fresh, current and up-to-date, inline with the original client brief.
The Unusual Projects workshop team and site crew worked tirelessly to meet the tight deadlines involved whilst maintaining the high standards upon which we pride ourselves. The site installation required precision planning to ensure that all contractors were scheduled, security checked and on-site for individual task delivery during the short 5-day installation window (some might say military precision!!).
Once again, our team delivered a high-quality project and installation on time and within budget.
