Client: national museums liverpool
Scope: Interactives
We always enjoy working with the fantastic team at the Museum of Liverpool and this project was no exception. We worked with the client team to develop a new interactive wall called ‘Passionate about Football’, for the Wondrous Place gallery.
We also undertook a series of refurbishments to interactive displays our team members developed and built back in 2011. Good to see they are still going strong!
The Wonderous place Gallery celebrates the city’s staggering roll call of trailblazing entertainers, musicians and sport people, writers, poets, visual artists and comedians, the gallery continues to showcase Liverpool’s internationally recognised creative expression and influence through exciting new displays and immersive experiences.
We worked closely with the client team to reproduce three tactile album covers from iconic Merseyside bands, these were supported with Braille (supplied by the RNIB) and non-Braille interpretation panels.
When we reinstated the Wondrous Place Gallery we knew that, as a 10-year-old gallery, it already had a legacy to honour. This legacy is one of inclusion, equality and pride very much the spirit of the city that inspired the creation of the galley in the first place.
